Brethren,

The May stated communication of Cabell Lodge #328 is Wednesday May 7, 2008 at 7:30PM with supper being served at 6:30PM.
A big reminder to all that our spring fund raising event is this coming Saturday May 3 beginning at 4:30pm. We need each available member to come out and support this event. It has proven itself to be a very enjoyable dinner with great fellowship between our Masonic Brothers, their families and friends. I hope to see each of you and your families on Saturday.
The Building Committee is planning to hold a lodge work day soon to make some lodge building maintenance repairs, make plans to assist when the date is set.
June is the month designated by the Grand Master for recognition and observance of the Feast of St. John the Baptist. Recognition can be by participation in a Table Lodge or attending a Church Service as a group. We will be discussing our desires at the May Stated Communication.
Cabell Lodge will host an open house visit and “Bring a Friend Event” July 16th; 7:30pm. We will have a cookout picnic style dinner and our program. All lodge line officers are required to attend and all other members are invited. Survey your acquaintances and families and invite them to attend our program. Membership into our craft is the life of our lodge. Introduce your friends and neighbors to Masonic fellowship and the rewards of becoming a Virginia Mason.
Keep Worshipful Brother Tom Payne in your daily thoughts and prayers as he continues under doctors’ care.
Also thoughts and prayers for RW Eddie Parrish’s lady, Mrs. Becky Parrish who, at last word, is still under doctor’s care in Henrico Doctors Hospital, Parham Rd. Richmond Va.
