From the East:

Our August Stated Communication will be held on Wednesday the August 1 with dinner at 6:30 followed by the meeting at 7:30pm.

Thanks to all who attended the July stated and cook out. There was plenty of food and fellowship and a good time was had by all. Overheard one Past Master state that in all his 40 some years in the Lodge that was the shortest meeting he had ever been to.

The busy time of the year is upon us. The Reid James Simmons School of Leadership and Ritual Instruction will commence at 9:00 AM on Monday July 30th and continue thru Wed Aug 1st till 12 noon. All officers should strive to attend.

The tickets for the fall fundraiser will be available at the August stated. Plan to be there to pick up your tickets and bring a brother that has not been to lodge in a while with you.

The District Instructor is asking for help in degree work. It would be great, especially in the Master Mason’s degree if we had two people for each of the ruffians and fellow craft parts. How about if the one’s that know one of those parts choose someone they know and teach him to be your backup.

There are several members of the Lodge who have been under doctors care and in the hospital. Brother Eddie Parrish called and said he is feeling better. Brother Gordon Richardson has been in the hospital and is back home. Drop by and visit with him, he will be glad to see you. Give a call ahead of time.
